The 104 is a small French car built by Peugeot in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin).

It was first launched as a 4-door hatchback, then as a 3-door coupé. This was followed by sports versions. The 104 served as the basis for the Citroën LN/LNA, Citroën Visa and Talbot Samba. When it was launched in 1972, it was the world's shortest 4-door saloon (3.58m.)

The 104 emerged from the Peugeot-Renault Association to design technical elements and mechanical parts. From the M-121 project came the 104 and also the Renault 14 in 19761.
