In 1976, the Camondo school launched an unusual competition: "Decorate the 2CV". The result? 60 wacky projects, and a winner who will send the Deuche down in history... and into the basketball locker room! Thanks to Claire Pagniez's idea, the 2CV becomes a giant shoe: laces on the hood, bright colors, fun spirit. In short, the little Citroën gets down to sport, but without breaking a sweat.

You'll receive all the navy blue, royal blue, white and burgundy elements shown in the photos, applied to all 4 sides. Enough to turn any 2CV into the star of the playground... or a retro gathering!

Our adhesives are made of cast polymer vinyl with AIR FREE technology for easy application (even if you have two left hands). Anti-UV, anti-scratch, with a lifespan of 7 to 9 years: stronger than a 2CV hood on a rainy day in Brittany.

The (slightly offbeat) history of the 2CV Basket

Imagine the scene: in 1977, Citroën unveiled the 2CV Basket, the fruit of the Camondo competition. Two examples were built: one given to Claire Pagniez, the designer, the other entered in a raffle (and won by... a crime chief!). The sneakers are a logical pair!

Claire wanted to "express the youthful, adventurous side" of the 2CV. Mission accomplished: the little Deuche became a rolling shoe, a fun symbol of a time when hitchhiking was king. Even today, this design inspires collectors and has even given birth to a Spanish cousin: the 2CV Marcatelo. So, when the 2CV comes out of its box, it doesn't just run... it walks too!
